Sermon on the Mount

The Gospel of Matthew joyfully proclaims the Kingdom of God has come in Jesus! All God had promised would be fulfilled through the Savior King sent by the Father to redeem the world. Jesus' reign was inaugurated in a humble stable, was recognized on a cross, and one day will be celebrated in full in the new heavens and new earth. Until then, Jesus has provided very practical instructions for his kingdom people defining who we are and how we are to live. The Sermon on the Mount is a blueprint for our lives, character, relationships, families, and church. And at the core of this sermon is Jesus, who provides gospel power and motivation to be all He calls us to be.
